The monograph examines the relationship between macroeconomic processes and the behavior of enterprises. The objectives, motivations and models of behavior of enterprises within the framework of various economic systems that have existed in Russia over the past 80 years are considered. It shows the continuity between the adaptation actions of enterprises characteristic of the central planning economy and the actions characteristic of transitional and market economies.
