In this book, literature is explored as a field of competition, and writing strategies as a model of the game offered to the reader so that he can win by increasing his social status and level of psychological stability. Highlighting the period between the crisis of realism (60s) and the crisis of postmodernism (90s), during which the position of literature and its relationship with the authorities changed in a specific way, the author raises the question of appropriation and redistribution of values ​ ​ in literature. The reader's participation in this procedure gives literature various types of power; this power is not limited to aesthetics, the legal sphere and coercive mechanisms, but uses the power of cultural, national, sexual stereotypes, norms, etc.
