The principles of classification of welded joints, the main types of fusion and pressure welding (arc, electroslag, contact welding) and special types of welding are considered. Recommendations are given for selection of welding technology of various structural materials, as well as basic information on welding materials and equipment ensuring implementation of the process and specified welding technology.
