This work includes documents reflecting the history of the construction of mainly stone structures, which was carried out in Novgorod under the supervision of state bodies. In the history of Novgorod XVII century. is one of the most poorly studied periods. The cultural layer of the city did not preserve the monuments of this time, and the office work of the Novgorod order hut died in a fire in Novgorod at the beginning of the 19th century. Documents reflecting the life of the city are concentrated in various TsGADA and partly other archives. These are beloviks sent from Novgorod to Moscow institutions, and drafts remaining in Moscow.
