The monograph explores a number of aspects in the biography of Joan of Arc, which have undergone the most significant distortions in historical memory, largely determining the further perception of this character in world history both in France and around the world. Based on a wide range of archival sources, using modern domestic and foreign literature, methods and patterns of the formation of falsified ideas about historical events and their participants are revealed.
