The monograph is the first historiography study of intervention in the North-West of Russia in 1917-1920. Various elements of intervention inherent in all parties to the conflict, including Soviet Russia, are considered. Particular attention is paid to the organization of the economic and naval blockade, the consequences of which affected the entire territory of Soviet Russia. The policy of intervention is characterized taking into account the background of its formation, dating back to the years of the First World War. New foreign and domestic materials were used, which made it possible to more clearly show the inconsistency of dramatic events in this region. The book is designed for historians, teachers and people interested in the history of Russia.
