The collection of literary and cultural articles is devoted to the literary heritage of the despotic rulers of the twentieth century - from Benito Mussolini to Muammar Gaddafi. As a preamble to this topic, the book also contains a study of the artistic activities of the Roman emperor Nero. All articles (with the exception of Thomas Mann's essay on Hitler and the study of K.-H. Fields about the lyrics of Mao Zedong) were written specifically for this collection, including by such prominent modern philosophers as Slava Zizek and Boyan Manchev.
