The book of annals and works of the famous writer and publicist Ilya Ehrenburg is the result of thirty years of research by the authors. The book serves at the same time as a one-of-a-kind biographical reference book, and, at the same time, thanks to the abundance of documents, letters, memoirs, criticism, chronicle materials from the central and provincial, Russian and foreign press (collected and presented with maximum completeness), - an interesting reading on the history of literary and public life of Russia and Europe in the first quarter of the 20th century.
