The book presented is a medical reference written for a wide range of users. It was published in Moscow in 1825. The work contains a description of the main drugs with methods of their preparation and indications for use. Drugs are ordered in groups according to their mode of action. The work was created by Richard Achilles. The translation into Russian was carried out by Gavril Medvedev. He slightly expanded the manual, adding a description of some of the properties of each drug and the names of the diseases in which they are used.
