The collection entitled "Tales and Fables in the Illustrations of George Narbut" includes several books published during the life of the artist G. Narbut in various publishing houses in 1909-1913: folk tales - "Wooden Eagle," "Teremok," "Mizgir"; author's fairy tales - "How the cat's mice were buried" by V. A. Zhukovsky, "Nightingale" by G. X. Andersen; fables of I.A. Krylov; from the series "Toys" - "Dance, Matvey, do not spare bast shoes!" The books included in the collection preserve the design of the covers and design of a wonderful artist of the beginning of the 20th century, a representative of the younger generation of the art association "World of Art" G.I. Narbut, a brilliant graphic artist, master of color and decorative design.
