The book contains all the epistolary heritage of the poet, literary and theater critic Apollon Grigoriev (1822 1864) that has survived to this day. This is the first scientific edition of his surviving letters (December 1842 September 1864). The book contains 305 letters, of which 92 are published for the first time. Among the addressees of the author are N. V. Gogol, M. P. Pogodin, A. A. Fet, V. P. Botkin, A. V. Druzhinin, F. M. Dostoevsky, L. N. Tolstoy, I. S. Turgenev, N. N. Strakhov, E. N. Edelson and others.
