Currently, some believe that shamans were something like folk healers, others imagine them as people with a mysterious soul and a demonic look. In fact, a shaman is just a person (man or woman) who, of his own free will, can change the state of his consciousness in order to contact other dimensions of being and (or) travel there to gain knowledge and strength. After his task is completed, the shaman returns to our world to use this power and knowledge, benefiting himself and other people.
