The book develops the concept of formation and transformation of institutional systems - groups of interconnected institutions functioning within the framework of socio-economic facilities of various levels: from enterprises to the country as a whole. The emergence of a new institution is interpreted as the recombination of "proto-institutes" - the basic elements of the institutional genetic fund of the economy, carried out with the participation of agents, organizations, auxiliary institutions.
