The monograph describes the dynamics of numbers, family structure, family relations and sociocultural practices of the Ukrainian rural population of Western Siberia, considers changes in the most important elements of family life (housing, clothing, food) and life cycle rites (maternity, baptismal, wedding, funeral and memorial) during the late XIX - XX centuries., the role of the family in the broadcast of ethnic traditions and the preservation of ethnic identity is determined.
