Dedicated to a very wide range of issues studied by modern astronomy. The main ideas, concepts and laws on which observational and theoretical astronomy, astrophysics, radio astronomy are based are presented. Almost all known celestial objects are described - the Sun, Moon, planets, stars and galaxies. Much attention is paid to recently discovered objects - pulsars, black holes, quasars, Seyfert galaxies.
