In this work, the author sets the task to consider how the revolutionary consciousness of G.I. Kotovsky, to find out the reasons that prompted him to come up with weapons in his hands against the autocratic-landlord system, to show the nature of the struggle that the armed group led by him during the 1905 revolution. The work is written mainly on the basis of archival materials.
