This book gives a historical and ethnocultural description of the inhabitants of three Turutlinsky villages - Batlukh, Zanat and Mogokh, belonging to a special Avar subethnic group that speaks a transitional dialect of the Avar language. Information is given about their social and social system, morality, upbringing and education, folk medicine, the role of Turutlins in the history of Dagestan, in the development of its economy and culture. Information is also provided about the most prominent immigrants from these villages.
