Old and new historical songs of the Russian people are our artistic, cultural heritage. Not all of them live in oral transmission. Many of the historical songs are preserved only in records, forgotten, now no longer sung. But, reading what was created by the working people who told about their lives, and now they no longer sing, and listening to what the people kept in memory and what they sing today, we will again live the past. By getting to know him, we understand the present better. We better understand the deep and complex appearance of the Russian people, the centuries-old national character, hardened in the fight against external and internal enemies.
