The monograph covers a wide range of issues related to the creation and use of reservoirs, their impact on the environment, the formation of bioproducts and water quality. The distribution of reservoirs on the globe, the peculiarities of their preparation in different countries of the world are characterized, reservoirs are classified according to a number of characteristics. In terms of the breadth of the girth of problems and their coverage using the example of different countries, this monograph is the first in Russian literature.
