Book-album within the framework of the "First Publication" program of the V. Potanin Charitable Foundation. The publication is devoted to collections of objects made in the technique of multilayer colored glass with carving and etching, stored in the collections of Russian museums. For the first time such products were presented at the World Exhibition in Paris in 1889 by the French glassmaker Emile Gallet. Soon, the technology invented by Halle became unusually popular, and the name of the master gave the name to a whole style. Similar products were made at many glass enterprises in France and Europe; fashion for them spread in Russia. Vases "in the style of Halle" have become an integral part of the interior of Art Nouveau. The birth of the "Halle style" and its expansion are told by articles written by leading Russian specialists in the field of decorative and applied art and museum staff - keepers of glass collections.
