The textbook provides general information about the PRV-13 radio altimeter, its structure, the principles of operation of individual systems and units. Particular attention is paid to the consideration of the impact of the technical characteristics of the studied systems on the combat capabilities of the PRV-13 radio altimeter as a whole. The operation of individual systems and devices is presented in the scope of structural and functional diagrams, and, if necessary, is supplemented with elements of schematic diagrams. In addition, the tutorial provides practical information on how to check and configure PRV-13 radio altimeter systems.
