The book offered to the reader, which contains four corrected and supplemented chapters from the work of the same author "On the Roads of Science," tells about some problems of medicine. They are united by one sign: the main acting therapeutic factor in each problem is of a biological nature. The presentation itself sets itself the task of showing how the corresponding problem arose, how it developed and how, finally, scientists managed to achieve its solution.
