The proposed manual can be used by anyone wishing to learn German on their own. The purpose of the self-teacher is to teach to conduct a conversation, ask questions, understand the interlocutor within the topics of everyday communication. The manual consists of an introductory course with instructions on pronunciation, intonation of German sentences, a main and additional course, including a phrasebook, reading texts, German-Russian and Russian-German dictionaries, as well as an appendix of a brief grammar guide and keys to the exercises of the main course for self-control.
