The collection is dedicated to the 90th anniversary of Doctor of Historical Sciences I.S. Dostyan, a famous Slavist and researchers of the history of the Balkans in Russia and abroad. The leading theme of the collection - the world of the Balkans and Russia - covers the period from the beginning of the XVIII century. to the middle of the XX century. It includes articles devoted to the scientific work of I. S. Dostyan herself, as well as various aspects of the political, social and cultural history of the peoples of Southeast Europe.
