Seven years have passed since the end of the bloody war, which brought the kingdom of Engata independence from the foreign Rigen empire. Although the country has not yet had time to heal its wounds, a new threat has already loomed over it. Tarinor, a participant in that war who once served a high-born lord, now survives the only craft he is trained in - mercenarism. He knows for sure: as long as people remain the same, the crows will feast on the battlefield. After defeating a formidable enemy, the country is torn apart by the flames of uprisings.
