Voznesensky Nikolai Alekseevich - Chairman of the USSR State Planning Commission since 1938, Deputy Chairman of the Council of People's Commissars (since 1946 - Council of Ministers) of the USSR, member of the Politburo of the CPSU Central Committee, received the Stalin Prize of the first degree for this book. Under the leadership of N. Voznesensky, during the Great Patriotic War, military-economic plans were developed and a powerful industrial base was created in the east of the country. Nikolai Alekseevich was personally responsible for providing the Red Army with weapons and ammunition, was a member of the Committee for the Restoration of the National Economy in areas liberated from the Nazi invaders.
