The documentary books of the famous Ukrainian journalist and TV presenter Konstantin Stogniy are known not only in Ukraine, but also far beyond its borders. Films have been made about his legendary expeditions to the North Pole, Somalia, Afghanistan, Iraq, Tibet and the Mustang region of Nepal. All these travels are associated with incredible discoveries and scientific finds, therefore they are somewhat mystical. However, mysticism cannot be mixed with documents. In the book "Pangapu, or the Statuette of the Goddess Kali," the author for the first time decided to share what was left behind the scenes, choosing an artistic form. But so that the unprepared reader would not be covered with a waterfall of unique, incredible information, the author began to describe his hero's path with simple things - with an amazing expedition to the islands of Oceania, where fate brought him together with the leaders of the cannibal tribe, whose main religion is the cargo cult, and with the beautiful Piacor.
