The book introduces readers to the life and work of the outstanding German playwright and poet Friedrich Schiller. On the rich biographical material and through the prism of the cultural atmosphere of that time, called the Enlightenment, the author reveals and analyzes the creativity and identity of the writer, who constantly strived for the ideals of good and justice.
