Works by I.T. Pososhkov (1652-1726) - the most striking works of public and political literature of the era of Peter I. "The Book of Poverty and Wealth" was first published along with some other works by Pososhkov M.P. Pogodin in 1842 according to the lists he kept (autograph "Books..." not preserved). The 2nd edition - 1911 - had educational purposes in mind and was a simple reprint of the first. 3rd edition - 1937 (Sotsekgiz) - made according to the lists of the XVIII century. and revealed defects in the Pogodinsky edition. The publication of the series is based on the most complete and thorough "Academic" list (1752, Library of the Academy of Sciences), which Pogodin did not know about. The text has been retested. Large passes of the Pogodin edition have been restored. In addition to the "Book of Poverty and Wealth," the essay "On Military Behavior" (1701) and the passage "Who Praises..." are published, anticipating some of the ideas of the "Book..."
