The seven most famous ancient Persian inscriptions are included in the anthology (in whole and in passages). The publication contains cuneiform texts, their transcription (for two small texts and transliteration) and a glossary. The manual is intended for Iranian students listening to the special course "Ancient Persian Language" at the VII-VIII semesters.
