The book reflects the main historical stages of the development of domestic venereology. The main attention is paid to little-known and tragic pages of the development of venereology in Russia (1918-1953), that complex and ambiguously assessed period characterized by undoubted high successes both in science and in the practice of combating sexually transmitted diseases.
