The collection of the famous English writer Arthur Conan Doyle (1859-1930) includes the novels "The Lost World" and "The Poisoned Belt" in the translations of Zinaida Nikolaevna Zhuravskaya, the novel "The Secret of the Foggy Country" in the translation of Dmitry Mochnev, as well as two stories: "When the World Screamed" and "Disintegrator Nemora." The book is decorated with drawings by four artists - two Americans: Joseph Call (1881-1921) and Herbert Stoops (1887-1948) and two Englishmen: Harry Rowntree (1878-1950) and Francis Hailey (1878-1965); all illustrated Doyle's first journal publications.
