The textbook was prepared in accordance with the approximate program of the discipline "Animal Breeding" in the direction of training "Animal Science." It examined the following sections of animal breeding: origin and evolution; the doctrine of the breed; constitution, exterior and interior; growth and development; selection and selection; methods of animal breeding, organization of breeding work in animal husbandry aimed at increasing the productivity and breeding qualities of animals, suitability for intensive technology, computerization of breeding work and production of livestock products.
