The main industrial briquette technologies of ferrous metallurgy are considered, the characteristics of the necessary equipment are given, the advantages and disadvantages of each technology are disclosed. Metallurgical properties of extrusion briquettes (bracks) are studied, analysis of experimental and industrial melting experience with bracks in charge is proposed.
