In this book, for the first time in Russian literature, an attempt was made to create a holistic, often contradictory image of one of the brightest scientists of the turn of the century, the German social thinker Max Weber (1864-1920). Vividly and interestingly, the author of the book talks about Weber's work, which is characterized by internal, deeply personal motives, about his views on life and scientific work.
