The book is the third part of the publication about the Vladivostok fortress, which significantly complements the book published in 2006 in Vladivostok by the Dalnauka publishing house. It gives a detailed description of the fortress as of 1914, including the forts of the 1910 project and the structures of the coastal front. Forts were the most complex systems of underground tunnels and galleries, coffers, concrete rifle parapets and shelters for soldiers under them, countermine galleries, ammunition cellars, etc. The work is illustrated with maps, diagrams, plans and photographs of Vladivostok fortifications, including coastal batteries.
