The textbook is intended for undergraduate and graduate students studying in the field of "Computer Science and Computer Engineering." It can also be used by students of other specialties whose profile is associated with the development of automated systems that use software intensively. The educational material of the book is divided into four chapters. The first chapter defines a class of "software-intensive automated systems," focusing on the specific architecture of such systems. A number of definitions of architecture are given, taking into account its significance, the place and role of architecture as a form of conceptual existence of AS are revealed. A retrospective of research and development in the field of AS architecture over the past 15 years is presented. The second chapter focuses on architectural patterns, standards and architectural conceptual schemes. The presentation of the NP architecture in the form of a system of architectural views agreed with the interests of groups of persons interested in the development of the NP is disclosed. The architectural schemes of J. Zahman, DoDAF, MoDAF, TOGAF and FEAF are summarized. Comparison of working architectural schemes used in NPP development technologies by different corporations is carried out. The material of the third chapter is related to the development of AS architectures. From a development perspective, it is proposed to consider architecture as a specific type of automated systems that use software intensively. Basic architectural paradigms (object-oriented, component-oriented and service-oriented paradigms), architectural options (including event, model and pattern-oriented) and architectural styles are presented. Particular attention is paid to issues of NPP quality, languages of architecture description and methods of their design, as well as issues of assessment and documentation of architectural modeling results. Ideas of aspect-oriented analysis and NP design are presented generically. Each chapter ends with a list of security questions, each with a series of potential answers.
