A new book that has no analogues in the world scientific literature, the book of the famous Israeli sociologist and political scientist Dr. Alec D. Epstein is devoted to the process of a radical change in the attitude of the United Nations to the Arab-Israeli conflict from 1974 to 1988. If in the previous quarter century the UN was engaged in interstate relations between Israel and the surrounding Arab countries, then starting from the 70s of the XX century, the "people of Palestine" was proclaimed as an independent legal entity by the UN, which now received the "right to self-determination."
