This monographic study is devoted to the history of internal party control bodies in the USSR of the 1930-1940s. Referring to the origins, genesis of Soviet communist statehood, the author focuses on specific problems related to the process of approving the Stalinist dictatorship and the activities of special control and audit departments - the Party Control Commission (CPC) under the Central Committee of the All-Union Communist Party of Bolsheviks (Bolsheviks) and its regional institutions - party boards and authorized offices.
