Essays on the Alaska-Siberia air route, along which during the Second World War American and Soviet aviators delivered from the USA to the USSR about 8 thousand aircraft, bombers, fighters, transport, etc. The total length of the route from American Fairbanks to Siberian Krasnoyarsk was 6.5 thousand km, of which 5 thousand km across the USSR. From the factory in the USA to the front in the USSR, the aircraft had to overcome up to 14 thousand km. The organization of the Alsib highway was made possible thanks to the Lend-Lease agreement, a program for the United States to supply goods to allies in World War II.
