The monograph is devoted to the problems of electrical safety during the operation of overhead power lines with a voltage of 35 kV and above (overhead lines). Approaches to ensuring electrical safety are justified, which not only complement, but also significantly expand the framework of the conceptual framework provided for by the current regulatory and technical documents (NTD) in the electric power industry. Much attention is paid to local and extended sources of dangerous contact voltage, which are not taken into account in the existing RTD and when working on overhead lines.
