South Africa (Republic of South Africa) - a state of two oceans, Indian and Atlantic, and apartheid. Much has changed here, but much has remained the same as before. The slums have not gone away, although they increasingly resemble reserves of recent history. However, more importantly, the country has preserved its richest natural, cultural and historical heritage. The Great Trek, the struggle for Veld, the Kafra Wars, diamond fever - and this is only part of the events that influenced the further fate of the "cradle of humanity."
