The ability to reason is determined by universal logical laws that depend neither on the language in which a person thinks, nor on the area of ​ ​ his activity. Course "Scientific wars. The art of argumentation" introduces the reader to the basics of logic and helps hone the skills of proof and refutation using the example of popular science texts that reflect disputes between scientists. The international language of communication in academia is English, so many materials are presented in the original language. The reader does not need to be a scientist and fluent in English in order to master the course and learn how to recognize logical errors, build strong arguments and identify false statements.
