The book is devoted to the analysis of elections in modern Russia with a focus on electoral processes in ethnic republics. Attention to these regions is explained by their importance for the stability of the current political regime in Russia. The book shows that the anatomy of political loyalty of ethnic republics is multi-layered and is determined not by one, but by a whole set of factors.
