The collective scientific work presents the results of a study of the psychophysical theory of Cambridge Platonism. The question of the soul, philosophical psychology, occupies an important place in the philosophical teachings of the 17th century, since it is the basis of epistemological and epistemological theories. The denial by a number of thinkers of the era of the scientific revolution of the problem of the immortality of the soul as a problem of meaningless causes a stream of opposite statements and arguments on the part of thinkers who support the platonic tradition in the cultural trends of the New Age, in which the soul, or human consciousness, appears as a self-sufficient essence and bearer of unchanging moral imperatives.
