The book "Caucasian Memories" by our compatriot from Turkey Mustafa Butba, translated into Russian by candidate of historical sciences Vladimir Avidzba, is the result of what the author saw and experienced in the North Caucasus, specifically in Chechnya and Dagestan, during his long business trip in 1920 with a group of enthusiasts from Turkey to assist the highlanders in creating an independent Mountain Republic. M. Butba paid special attention to his first stay in his historical homeland - Abkhazia.
