In the monograph of the Crimean military historian on the basis of archival and narrative sources, relying on studies of different times, a little-known area of ​ ​ the struggle for the Crimea is characterized - the Arabatskaya Strelka spit. The features of this region are examined in detail, the events of 1941-1944 that took place here are reconstructed. An analysis of the available forces, fortifications and means of the opposing sides was made, the problem of the influence of the natural and geographical conditions of this part of the Crimean peninsula, historical and social factors on hostilities was reflected.
