The collection publishes documents stored in the funds of Russian archives on the preparation and conclusion in 1783 of the St. George Treatise between the Russian Empire and the East Georgian Kingdom, political and military events in the Caucasus and Transcaucasia in 1769-1796, preceding the conclusion of this treaty and resulting from it, on the impact of the agreement on the further history of Russian-Georgian relations.
