The book contains methods and examples of calculation of bases and foundations by limit states of the first and second groups. Foundations of various types are considered: for open pits, piled, deep, on structurally unstable soils. Information on reconstruction of foundations of buildings and structures is given. Basic provisions of foundation design rules are given. The textbook is intended for students of construction universities.
