Atlas - a manual for a visual study of common species and fora of tree and shrub species. It consists of 116 drawings, including 32 color ones, and a text part. The life-size drawings depict shoots, buds, leaves, flowers, fruits, seeds and shoots of 205 species of tree and shrub species growing in the western regions of the Ukrainian SSR. The text part sets out the basics of systematics, describes the ranges, morphology, bioecological features of over 460 species and forms of woody and shrubby plants, as well as their use in forestry and green construction. An alphabetical index of Russian, Ukrainian and Latin names of the described plants has been placed.
